feel the refreshing nature at the finger tips,
and spend this irreplaceable moment with loved ones.
Please experience a time that stimulates all five senses.
Location
A kawadoko in Kibune where the water is almost in arms reach.
Listen carefully to the sound of the flowing river, feel the soothing breeze,
and bask in the warm sunlight filtering through the trees
for a truly breathtaking experience unique to the place.
From the wide-open windows, enjoy the fleeting yet beautiful melody
played by the gentle rain.
Cuisine
A Wagyu beef kaiseki with dishes fully utilizing the blessings of nature
to recreate the sensation of the four seasons.
The moment these delicate kaiseki dishes enter the mouth,
a somehow nostalgic, and yet fresh, taste spreads inside.
Tradition and Enterprise
While upholding the modesty and "wabi-sabi" of Japan,
modern designs are also beautifully incorporated into the interior of the restaurant.
Please spend a cozy time with loved ones
surrounded by sliding doors fitted with "karakami",
a traditional paper craft in Kyoto known for its colorful patterns.
The proud chefs of WHAT'S offers the best dishes.
